I cannot sign into Garmin Connect on the app on my samsung galaxy 5 to use my viofit

I have downloaded the app for Garmin Connect to use for my garmin viofit but it wont let me sign in. It keeps coming up with a problem occurred while attempting to sign into Garmin Connect. I have tried on my WIFI and normal access and it won't work
