I was planning to buy Moto X(2014). I know its very late for a phone that was released more than an year ago. But I've always been a fan of this phone and now its at an affordable cost for me. But I've been hearing lot of complaints about how this phone can't even withstand a 1 foot drop from the hand or a table. People are complaining the display gets completely damaged at this very low hieght drop and Motorola customer care is asking for Rs/- 20,000 (almost $300). Honestly the phone doesn't even cost that much now.
I wanted this phone for its touchless controls, moto acitions, ambient display and the amoled screen. Other phones I'm considering are the Moto X Play and OnePlux X. But I heard how Moto X Play heats up even in moderate usage and lags in high-end games. I'm kinda excited about OnePlus X though. It has almost all the features I'm looking for at such a low cost.
So should I buy this phone or consider the other two phones?
