Certain Google apps (Hangouts, GMail, YouTube) crash upon opening on my phone.

I have a Kyocera Hydro Vibe running Adroid 4.4.2 KitKat. A few months ago, some of my Google apps started crashing when I would try to open them, specifically YouTube, Gmail, Hangouts, and also Google Settings. I've tried uninstalling updates on the apps and they'll work, until they're updated to the most recent version. Also, when the issue started, when I'd try to report the crash, Google Play Services would also crash. I recently did a factory reset, and initially after all updates, the apps began to work, but within a few minutes, were crashing again. I'm not sure what is causing the issue, but it's quite annoying, especially when I try to check my mail notifications and the app crashes. The apps on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 work just fine.
