Does anyone know how many unlock attempts you get on these phones? (As default - I'm sure you can customise the security settings but I haven't done this.) I've left my phone somewhere, won't be able to get it for a while, and would like some peace of mind that it locks out after a certian number of attempts!

To get peace of mind I would recommend that you force lock the device via Android device manager.

I'm inclined to agree with dpham00.

Thanks, I'll look into this... however, my phone is not with me at the moment - I know where it is, but I'm a bit concerned in case someone tries to get into it. I know after 5 password attempts it locks for 30 seconds, but is there a certain amount of attempts you can make before it locks completely? Or can you go on forever trying 5 numbers then waiting for 30 seconds, then trying 5 more, etc?

You can do it online (even remotely, away from the phone). Just Google "Android device manager"
