How do i cast my android 5.1.1 to my panasonic blu ray player?

I updated the tablet to 5.1.1 and the blue ray player is updated but i have no option to cast from the display settings on the tablet.

Welcome to Android Central! You generally don't cast to a BluRay player. If you have a Chromecast, it should be plugged into an HDMI input on the TV or AV receiver. If your device has DLNA or Miracast, then the TV itself is what you cast to (as long as the TV is compatible), not the BluRay player.
