Does fast charging affect battery life over a long time

So I'm waiting for my Asus zenfone 2 deluxe to get delivered and it Has fast charge avalible. I was wanting to know if you use fast charge every morning and get it charged, will it affect the battery life after about a year? What I'm trying to say is if the battery lasts about 4 hours after a year or so of charging each night on normal charge, will it still last about 4 hours after a year or so on fast charge. Due to Waring out the battery? Thanks and any help appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! From my reading, rapid charging can theoretically decrease the battery's overall lifespan by a little bit, but realistically, it most likely won't be noticeable in the typical 2 year lifecycle of a phone.
