Cant access google server

[AC Question]

ok so Im using a galaxy s4 2 days ago it drop the wifi and didn't come back on so I did a factory reset cuz it had worked in the past, I do and then it decides to update the version after the reset boot from 4.4.2 to 5.0.1 so the wifi works fine but I cant access the google play store or add google account or log in to my youtube account cuz it is the google account whenever I try the screen show checking info for a few seconds the straight to couldn't sign in, cant establish a reliable connection to the server.
I have tried everything but rooting my phone so Im asking if there is a way to fix this besides root

Hello! Have you tried this without wifi? Maybe it will work over your mobile data? Are you able to get into your phone at all or are you stuck in the setup trying to add your gmail?

i cant without wifi my phone docent have a data plan and yes i can get into my phone and browse the web etc but wen i go to google play or try to add a google account it says "couldn't sign in, cant establish a reliable connection to the server"
