How to get different notifications behavior by different apps

[AC Question]

I would like for hangouts to notify me only my showing the usual mark on top of the screen or the pop-up while the phone is locked without making a sound or vibrating. However, I would like to have this while for the rest of the apps the notifications would be different (more specifically, sound, visual and vibrating).

So is there any way to define the phone to notify me in a certain way but then define specific apps where the notifications are different?

I'm using a S6 with 5.1.1 OS.

Welcome to the forums. Not sure if the Hangouts thing can be accomplished, it's too specific. Other apps can be modified in their own app settings, where vibration and tones can be set, though.
