can i change my s6 edge's finger print sensor?

my s6 edge fell in water, and now the finger print sensor doesn't work. at first i thought it was because of the water but when i later checked in the *#0*# settings, it said "null" for the finger print sensor. so can i change the sensor at any local store, or do i have to send it to the company to fix it??

Welcome to the forums! You'll need to send it in for repair. It's not a part you can fix, and may actually be a problem with the board rather than the sensor itself.
