My Nexus 6 loses connectivity to cellular network for days.

[AC Question]

Currently Portugal with Nexus 6, started Project Fi Octover in USA 2015:

Been here 5 weeks. Few days ago it would not connect to any of the services.
Did Settings>More>Cellular Networks and did both Automatic and manual. Nothing for days.
today it just came back on its own and says 3g, which is normal and it is working.

I had the same thing happen in Colombia; was great for 3 weeks- and never came back so bought a sim card.

Arrived Spain- put in Project Fi sim, was great. Came to Portugal, has be GREAT for 5 weeks, then nothings for 4 days, until a moment ago.

any thoughts on solution?
