Not receiving texts from iphones

I switched from iPhone to galaxy s7 edge, my I'm essayed says it's turned off through the website but I'm still not getting any messages, what do I need to do?

Maybe your contacts are still sending you IMS. They now need to send SMS to you

I had the same problem happen one time. I ended up having to call Apple to get them to turn iMessage off on my number.
