New Pattern agter softwear update

When I try to open my Samsung galaxy 6 using the new pattern feature it will not work and eventually I am locked out for 30 seconds.Is there a way to change the pattern

Hi

The only way to change it is to have the correct pattern to enter, and or enter the backup passcode. Other option, if you've set one or both up, is to login to Android Device Manager or Samsung Find My Mobile, VIA a web browser, login, and lock with new passcode.
