I am not using the original plug that Samsung had as I lost it. Using a plug I got from the dollar store. Been using it for a while and it has been charging it well. This time I plugged it in and the battery indicator took a while to come on and when it did the battery indicator was black and the blue that usually starts to populate the battery to show it recharging did not appear. It filled about 1/8th of the battery then disappeared. then the whole battery and dots disappeared and it went black. Tried pressing the power and the volume button together for a few seconds, nothing happened. Then after a few seconds the battery pic would appear and the blue would fill 1/8th of the battery and then disappear. I've had it charged over night and all day and it is still doing the same thing. It keeps going on and off with the same thing happening with the indicator. I don't know what to do to get it to turn on. Does anyone have suggestions as to what I can do to get it to turn on?
