files won't stop getting downloaded

[AC Question]

my htc desire 820 started downloading files(i dont even know how)and when i try to open and stop the download it doesn't work,i tried to disconnect the wifi and on it again ,it starts again downloading . switch off and on it starts again.now it is showing 1567 files downloading.

Welcome to the forums! That's very strange. You could try clearing cache and data for the 'Downloads' app on settings - apps - all. If it doesn't work you should consider a factory reset.
