I have a strange issue affecting my S7 Edge running on O2 in that it is not re-connecting to known WiFi networks automatically.
For your reference I have tried the following already:
1. Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep set to Always
2. Forgotten and re-added the WiFi networks
3. Cleared the partition cache
4. Rebooted the phone
5. Smart network switch set to off
6. Disabled Bluetooth and Location Services
7. Ensured latest firmware is installed
The only thing that seems to resolve it is to completely erase the phone back to it's factory default settings in which case it works fine for a few days and then suddenly the issue will re-appear.
Does anyone have any ideas what the issue may be? I would think it isn't hardware related as surely it would exist even after resetting the phone back to it's factory default, or should I just take it to the Carphone Warehouse service centre for them to look into it??
