forgotten my patten code

ive forgotten my pattern code and dont think i linked a google account to it i dont want to lose all my stuff as it has precious photos on it

You would have created a Google account when you set up the phone. If you can't remember its details a hard reset is your only option but you will lose your data. If you have precious data on your phone you should take steps to protect it including regular backups
