Will the HTC One M8 GPE receive the android n update?

We all know that M8 won't be receiving the nougat update but will the google play edition receive the update (As it receives updates just like a nexus device)?

I think not as it has expired the months of support from google but.
What I will do is get a rom with stock m9 android N in my M8 or a CM N rom just to try. even though I am not that enthusiastic about the new vesion as it is very similar to marshmallow. GPE 6.0.1 is already responsive, very stable and even better with the Elementalx Kernel.

Hi there. Did you get round to installing a stock m9 N rom, or a CM N rom? How did it go?
