App for louder night notifications?

Hi all,
I've seen plenty of forums about disabling / silencing notifications at night, but I have the opposite problem. I'm in charge of students at a University 24/7, so if one texts me with a lockout or other problem I need to know about it immediately. I haven't found a notification tone that will wake me up because they're all too short, but is there another solution? I wake up to calls at night but (surprisingly) many students don't call when there is a problem.
