My screen has a very small single crack

Somethings wrong, the screen keeps shrinking & automatically put it split screen. It blinks probably 4 different screen tops. 100% of the time. I can't use phone anymore. Ive seen a lot people using a phone with a completely shattered screen & it still works. Please explain

Some phones don't work with a broken screen, others do.
