How do you disable GMail notification reminder? It is driving me crazy when I have an unacknowledged/unread email on my GMail account, and it keeps notifying me of a new email whenever there is a network change, or randomly sometimes!

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Go to Settings>Accessibility and see if there is an option for Notification Reminder.

go in to gmail cick on drop down menu to settingss, pick account that youi want to stop notices for. either uncheck the notification box or change how many reminders youy want, whatever floats your boat.

It is on Nexus 6p. There is no option to disable notification reminder under Settings>Accessibility. I don't want to stop receiving audible notifications for new emails, but I'd like to stop the audible reminder for unacknowledged/unread email notification reminders.

This is a little odd--so you're saying that even if your web connection is stable, you'll still get a random audible notification for your unread Gmail, even though it isn't new?

Yes, that is correct. I would receive a new GMail email, and if read it or swipe it out of my notification on the Nexus 6p, it keeps reminding me of a new email every 15 or 30 mins (I havent really timed the interval, but it seems that frequent). Rather frustrating, especially when at home, or at work where my network connection does not change for hours.
