Why are my videos flickering blue and device crashing?

So before I start, I'd like to say that I believe the cause of these problems is android 6.0.1 marshmallow. I installed the update last week, and since then every time I play a video, bbc iplayer, video player, streaming, the screen starts flickering blue, different places at different times. And just this morning my device rebooted for no apparent reason, with over 70% power. I am using a samsung galaxy a5. Why is this happening, and is it happening to others or just me?
