Gallery and camera does not sync Galaxy s4mini

After my latest Android updat emy pictures from camera do not display in Gallery. they are under my files (DCIM) but does not pull through on gallery.

I selected display all files and folders- nothing. my service provider also does not have the answer.

Please assist.

Open My Files >DCIM >Camera. On the menu, (three dots), choose Settings and put a check mark in "Show hidden files", then hit the back key to get back to the Camera folder. If you see a ".nomedia" file in the Camera folder, delete it.

A .nomedia file tells the media scanner to skip/ignore all files in the folder. So if the .nomedia file is present in the Camera folder, none of the photos will show up in the gallery. You may or may not have to restart your phone to force the media scanner to rescan your folder.
