I can't see what I'm typing when I'm using the keyboard and I'm holding my phone sideways

Hi I have a ZTE zMAX Pro and I'm coming across an issue that I cannot see what I'm typing when I hold my phone sideways because the keyboard covers up all of the screen is there any way I could make the keyboard smaller so I can see what I'm typing or sometimes I have the text box and it shows me when I'm typing but it's still covers the screen

Welcome to Android Central! That's pretty common when typing in landscape. You could try out one of the many 3rd party keyboards that are available on Google Play Store. A bunch of them allow you to adjust the size/height of the keys.
