Why is old phone getting calls and texts...

Today I switched carriers... My old phone is receiving texts and calls... While my new phone gets nothing. I can send texts and make calls but dont receive any... My old carrier is suppose to be notified to turn off service, but is currently still on... Anyone have any idea?

Since it is the weekend, I am guessing that there is a little lag in the "swap-over" process.

Porting takes less than a minute - as far as what the clerk has to do. But, as Joe said, they may not do it until tomorrow or Tuesday. (I've had numbers ported in less time than it took them to move the SIM card from one phone to the other.)
