Samsung gear vr and screenbeam mini 2... why does the screen freeze?

Got a Screenbeam Mini2. Works great, but when I use my Samsung Gear VR the screen will freeze. Any other game will run fine... even War Robots with all the action and sound. Sound with VR works .. just video freeze. Ideas or suggestions? Thanks
