Missing text messages on LG G5 (T-Mobile)?

I recently went from the G4 to the G5, and in the month I've gad the phone I'm not getting a lot of text messages. Before I had missed some here and there, but now it's very frequent. Different numbers, carriers, times of day, etc. I called T-Mobile multiple times and we did ALL the troubleshooting-more than once. They are sending me a new phone now since it's the last resort, but I'm wondering what the hell is going on! It's frustrating trying to keep in touch with people when I'm not getting their messages but I can see online it's coming through to the network. Is it time to switch to an iPhone?

I'm having the same issue. I'm on my third phone, replaced the sim card, etc, etc.

Welcome to Android Central! How's the T-Mobile network in your area? Their coverage, although improving, can still be pretty spotty in some parts.

I have had my LG G5 for a few months and have run in to the same problem.
Different kinds of phones, numbers, carriers, and it's gotten so bad I'm beginning to not recieve at least 50% of my messages.

Did they have you try a factory reset on the phone?
