How can I stop receiving an error message on SMS Backup+ when trying to restore my texts?

Hello all! I recently had to get rid of my Galaxy S6 due to a glitch that couldn't be remedied. I just purchased a GoPhone just to have a phone to use. I believe it is a Galaxy Samsung Express (don't quote me on that.) and I am having issues restoring my text messages with the SMS Backup+ application. Does anybody have any help or answers? Thank you!
