How do I make my SD card the default storage for my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone

I want to save space on my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone and want to make my 32 GB SD card the default storage for my contacts downloads and apps...

It does not work that way.
The default app install always goes to the internal storage. You should leave your apps there.
The SD card is best for music, videos, pictures, and documents.
Some of the apps that create/download these things let you pick the default storage location, while some of those apps do not let you pick.
For the ones that do not let you pick, you will need to manually move these items to the SD card using a file browser app.
