Backup not loading

[AC Question]

Hello. I had to do a factory reset and after the reset and loading my Google account, the restore did not start. Drive shows backup files, but they are not automatically restoring (despite that being turned on in the Personal system folder). Can I load the backup from Drive another way? Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! What were you expecting to be restored? The data backed up by Google's backup service doesn't necessarily include every app (since not all apps take advantage of the backup service), and the data for at least some apps might just be limited to settings preferences and account information.
