I am using a samsung galaxy s7 and trying to access the EE WiFi we have at work. I have been using this wifi for months with no issue, it is one that requires you to sign in via a portal but no actual log in details are needed, the splash page would load and you would be connected.
After returning to work from a bank holiday weekend I can no longer connect, receiving a web page not available error on the sign in to network android screen. The web page could not be loaded because: net:ERR_connection_closed.
I have tried restarting my phone, resetting wifi settings, using a static IP and none work.
Yesterday I was spamming the sign in page for 2 hours and it randomly decided to work eventually (after doing all the usual resets too)
I am trying to diagnose what is causing the sign in page to fail
