if i do a factory reset on my S7 edge phone, do i lose all my contacts?

I am going to have to perform a factory reset on my S7. does anyone know if i will lose my contacts and phone numbers? i'm sure i'll lose the text message conversations, but do i also lose all the saved people/numbers as well?

Welcome to the forums. If your contacts are saved to your Gmail account, you won't lose them. Once you re enter your Gmail, all you need to do is wait for it to re sync and they will be back.
