SD Card "set" as Default

A

AC Question

I have a BLU phone. I have a 32G SD Card, which is set as the Default Write Disk. Everything still defaults to the 4G internal storage though. Some apps I can move onto the SD Card, but only after it was downloaded to the internal. I have tried a lot of things and rewritten my entire phone a few times now. I can only get a few critical apps, like Maps and Gmail before it wants "clear up space" Help.

Welcome to Android Central! What are you expecting to save to the SD card? When you set it as the default storage location, that's where things like downloaded files will go -- but not app installation. Apps always have to download and install to Internal Storage first. After they're installed, you can go to Settings>Apps, select the app, and tap Move to SD (if the feature is available). This only moves a portion of the app to SD, though, so you might not save that much internal storage.
