How to transfer images from s5 to s8 after a previous transfer.

The folks at Verizon set up my new Samsung Galaxy s8+. When they installed the new 256 gb micro sd card they must have not mounted it prior to transferring my images (over 4k) from my old s5. Should I delete all my image files from my s8 before doing the data transfer again?

Welcome to Android Central! So all of the image files are in Internal Storage? How about connecting the phone to your PC via USB and using Windows Explorer to drag and drop the files from Internal Storage to the SD card?
