2017 EX-L Honda Accord says it is not compatible with Galaxy S8 - anyone have ideas?

[AC Question]

Bought new last week - 2017 Honda Accord EX-L V6, Upgraded phone to Galaxy S8 this week. Some interface works, but there is a message on the Honda screen that it is not compatible with the Galaxy S8.
- It will not let me use voice, e.g. "ok google"
- It let's me make calls, but does not see the contacts list in the new phone

Ideas? Help? Any solution ideas?

Welcome to the forum. It's not unusual for new vehicles to have outdated firmware, happens all the time. It's also a constant back and forth for everybody trying to keep up with technology. I would talk with your dealer, or Honda's support site to see if there are firmware updates available for your model's audio system.
