Cannot Connect to Traxxas Link App after latest Android update

[AC Question]

I have a Traxxas RC Truck and receive telemetry from the truck via Bluetooth to the Traxxas Link App. All worked great until the update I received in early June 2017. I can not connect anymore. but my wife's S7 can connect via Bluetooth.
I talked to Traxxas and they said that have receive numerous complaints about this.
Does this mean it is a OS problem or does the Traxxas Link App needs an update?

Yes, when I called Traxxas on July 6th, the Traxxas tech rep said they will have a fix for their Traxxas Link app for Android in 48 hours. They are a day or two late as of today, July 11th.
