No calendar app notifications

[AC Question]

Hello! I recently just updated the software on my Galaxy s6 edge+ and now I do not get any notifications from my calendar app. My phone will do one soft vibrate when an event happens but nothing else shows up. So if I'm not looking at my phone I would never know. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix it? My volume is up and notification settings are on.

Welcome to Android Central! Open the Calendar app, go to its settings, and look for the notification options. Does it give you the option to choose a notification tone?
