After the latest Android upgrade the phone charges to 100% and then stops charging

After the upgrade that was pushed on my prone about 2 months or so, if I leave my phone connected oversight and then leave it connected during the day, it will stop charging unless I unplug it and re plug it. I know that it is not that the cable became unplugged because profile scheduler is still using the profile that I set up to use when plugged in. This never happened before the upgrade.

My android version is 7.0 with security patch May 1 2017.

Welcome to the forum. Nougat changed some of the rules regarding charging, primarily for the S8s. Which phone do you have? FWIW, I never leave a phone connected after its charged as batteries don't like it. I would also suspect your profile scheduler.

I have a Samsung Note 5. The profile scheduler I have had for a long time and it never caused a problem. I guess I will just have to keep on unplugging and re plugging the phone. Thanks.
