Root failed, stuck on twrp load up

A

AC Question

Hi,

So tonight i decided to root my s7 edge, done this on previous samsungs with no problems, but that isnt the case now, followed all instructions. I got up to th twrp screen to install the files but the files where not thought despite copying the zip files to my phone like the walkthrough said to do, so treid to reboot my phone but when it comes to the samsung load up screen it goes black, vibrates and samsung load up screen again and repeat, only thing i can do is press vol+, home and power to take me back into twrp.

How do i get my phone back to normal(not bothered about it being rooted)?

Thank you in advance

If your phone can only boot up into its Recovery Mode it sounds like the ROM got corrupted somehow during the rooting process. If you want to return your phone back to its original operating system you'll need to re-flash the stock ROM. This will also replace TWRP with a stock Recovery.
If you go here, find the ROM that;s an exact match to your model of S7 Edge. No substitutions, it needs to be the exact replacement. ROMs are not interchangeable.

Once you've selected your ROM, at the bottom of the actual download page are instructions on how to flash the stock ROM. Note that sammobile intentionally restricts the bandwidth of its download servers so don't worry about why it will take so long. Also, if you're going to use the referred to Odin utility you'll need a Windows PC. If you don't have access to one, try using Heimdall, and Open Source equivalent to Odin that's available for Linux, Mac, and Windows.
