Why is my emerson em756 tablet not charging

[AC Question]

My grandson has this tablet and not using the original charger. Now we can't get it to charge at all. Please help

Welcome to Android Central! I agree -- and make sure you're trying a different charging cable as well. Let it charge on a wall outlet undisturbed overnight, then try powering on by pressing and holding Power for at least 15 seconds. If nothing happens, then the battery might be dead.
