Why is my battery on samsung galaxy note edge draining so fast?

I bought my new note edge 2 weeks ago and since then, the battery is draining so fast. Also, when it gets below 30% the phone turns off automatically which is annoying. But when I connect my charger, it says it has 40%. Are the any solutions to my problem???

Get a new battery. I'm assuming you bought it second hand because the Note Edge production has been stopped for over 2year now. The battery may have just been old.
