why is my tablet shutting down when it has a full battery charge

my tablet shuts down when it has a full charge on it and it wont load without it being pluged in

Look at Settings/Battery. Tap the graph. Is there a sharp drop to 0 for a very short time? If there is, the battery is bad (it's growing a dendrite). If not, it has to go into the shop anyway, for a diagnosis.
