Here's help with phone won't charge

Note 3 and 4 and otger replaceable battery users. If your phone won't charge because of getting wet, plug in damaged, due to water damage, etc, go to ebay or amazon, etc and buy a charging cradle and even a spare battery for $8-$15 from China or a little more if u are in a hurry and charge battery in cradle each time and put back in phone. I have many spare batteries I do this with so I have extra run time. 10,000 capacity batteries that come with extended back plates are available from $10-$20 too. Problem solved!

Water damage to phones is unlikely to be limited to the battery, and furthermore tends to be progressive. In fact, fitting a working, charged replacement battery and powering on the phone may do immediate damage to the internal components.
