My Lenovo Tab 2 A10 70 has come almost to a standstill! Help!

I updated my tablet a month or two ago as I just thought it was always a good thing to do. (This was the first ever update I'd done since the tablet was new.) The tablet was working brilliantly before the update. Since the update, everything, and I mean everything takes ages to load. I just get blank screens for up to 10 seconds before the page loads, or the apps won't scroll for up to 10 seconds. The tablet just doesn't want to respond anymore. I have tried a factory reset twice, but it didn't help at all. I also have to log into absolutely everything all the time now - whereas before, I could remain logged into everything even after shutting down and restarting my tablet. I am just about to throw this tablet in the bin - it is so frustrating!! It was such a fantastic tablet before the update. Please, please can you suggest what might be the problem and if it is repairable? Many thanks in advance!

Are you using an SD card as internal memory? I used one that was too slow which slowed down the whole tablet. Upgrading the card fixed things.
