Android Central Question
I haven't taken much advantage of the capabilities of smartphones because I've been limited to an entry-level Android device with just 512MB of memory and 4GB of storage (most of which is already used preinstalled apps). I installed a 32GB microSD card in hopes of being able to install and use more apps, but my Android (version 4.4.2) OS will only let me utilize that storage space for data/media files, not apps. Is this normal? Do later versions of the Android OS allow microSD storage to be used for applications?
