Android Central Question

I have a Samsung Galaxy s7 with Android nougat 7.0 and every YouTube video or forum instruction I've found so far is inaccurate. When I select all the photos, there's no "move to" option, there's no sd card "format as internal" option, no move vs copy options in the gallery. Every solution I've found so far does not exist since I guess the newest software update. Transferring apps was easy, though, thanks a bunch Android.

You can move your images by going into my files and by clicking the folder named dcim you will get all your pictures and then try to move or copy to sd card. It may work try it.

Use your favorite file browser app.

For your pictures, movies, music, and documents, do the following for each:

On the SD card, create folders named like your internal storage has.
COPY, not move, the files from the internal storage to the SD card.
Verify that the files did properly copy over.
Restart the phone to flush the file buffers and kick the indexing service into action.
Verify that the files are still on the SD card.
Delete the original files from the internal storage.
