I see plenty of instructions on how to move an app icon from the app drawer to the home screen, but not the other way around. How do you move an app icon from the home screen to the app drawer?
If I want to save a web page as an app, it will save it to the home page. I would like to move it to the app drawer.
I saw this: "Long-press the icon, and move the app up to Remove, which will appear at the top of the screen. The app icon will then be stowed away in the app drawer." but I just tried it and I lost it completely.

I believe I wrote that. It applies to app icons, but not shortcuts to sites. In effect you've uninstalled the 'app'. You'll have to return to the site and save to your home screen again.
