Why cant i boot after flashing any custom rom?

I have a Micromax Canvas 4 A210, I have flashed custom CWM recovery through MTK droid tools. I wanted to flash a custom ROM but every time i "successfully" flash the ROM.zip and reboot it gets stuck into a bootloop. I don't know why as I do the procedures correctly. I cant access the recovery mode as my volume up button is broken.So I have to flash the stock firmware through SP flash tool. I can't find any adequate answer to my issue. Please help and also recommend a good daily driver non-stock looking rom based on kitkat 4.4 , SP tool flashable if possible. Thankyou.

Are you sure that the ROMs you're flashing are made for the Micromax Canvas 4 A210? You can't just flash any ROM and expect it to work, it has to be a ROM specifically made for your device.
