Mail app keeps crashing

[Android Central Question]

For the past several days my Mail app keeps crashing. My Gmail app works fine but my Mail app that has my work email isn't working correctly. I receive email just fine but if I try to create, reply, reply all, or forward an email I get the "Mail has stopped unexpectedly." message and asks if I want to send an error report to HTC ( I have an HTC 10) which I have done several times.

Does anyone know the cause of this and how I can resolve it?

You could try clearing cache and data for that app.
