A Android Central Question Mar 18, 2018 #1 Moved some photos to secure folder and decided to move them back. They no longer are dated correctly and were placed first before all the other ones. Quite annoying.

File dates are controlled by the file system and get updated when files are copied, unlike in Windows. Some image viewers wrongly look at the file dates. Some image viewers correctly look at the EXIF data. If you need an image viewer that does it correctly try "piktures" by Diune: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.diune.pictures Upvote 0 Downvote
