Android Central Question

This is for android 5.0 on galaxy note 3. I always set the exposure value at + 2.0 for indoor sketchbook time-lapse recordings which i speed up later. The problem is, each time i close out the camera app and go back into it, the exposure value os reset to 0 and i have to once again set it to +2.0. This gets frustrating to do since i pretty much only use my phone's camera to record this way and i do a lot of recording. Is there any way to save my camera settings or change the default camera settings so i can have the exposure value already at +2.0 when i open the app? Thanks.

You can't save the EV - that's not one of the "savable" things. (You could find an open source camera app, set it for an equivalent exposure of an EV of +2, then compile it, and use it instead of the stock app.)
